PANAM Ball Valves HB Series of one-piece design are compact medium pressure valves for general applications. Their larger orifice gives higher flow rates, and they are characterised by long service life and low torque. They are designed for bi-directional flow in fully open or fully closed position.
The range includes threaded versions (female, male and male x female) and versions with PANAM tube fittings at both ends or a male thread x tube fitting combination, in inch and metric sizes. A two-position stainless steel handle shows open and closed positions, with a locking mechanism as an option.
Every valve is hydrostatically tested in accordance with MSS-SP-99 (body at 1.5 times, seat at 1.1 times the maximum working pressure) and the seat and stem seal are tested in nitrogen at 1,000 psi (6.9 MPa).
