The Isolation Service Valve provides a temporary seal at the access point while the monitoring device is removed for inspection, maintenance or replacement. It comes in single or double isolation versions (the retriever for a single valve is not suitable for a double valve). Its two-bleed-valve design is a key safety feature: one bleeds to atmosphere, supplementing the retriever bleed valve, and the second bypasses the ball so pressure in the retriever builds up smoothly without shock, and the ball can be opened easily because the seats are no longer loaded.
This version is used with the EuropCorr Hydraulic Retrieval Tool Kit.
