The Hot Tap Tool adds a EuropCorr access system to a pipeline or vessel already in service, without shutdown and without product loss, by trepanning a clean hole through the wall under pressure. Cutters come in three styles: square end mill to spot-face the trepan area, 4-tooth cutter for walls thicker than 5/16" (8 mm) and 6-tooth cutter for thinner walls up to 5/16" (8 mm). The kit includes all equipment needed for the hot tapping procedure, packed in a heavy-duty field service box.
