The ASVG-Plus connects a voltage source converter in parallel with the grid through a filter and uses advanced reactive power, harmonic and three-phase active power detection to compensate reactive current, harmonic currents and unbalance at the same time. Its neutral zero-sequence filtering capability reaches three times the phase capability, and its radiated and conducted emissions meet Class A limits according to the manufacturer, giving superior EMC behaviour and stability.
Typical uses include hospitals, data centers, pharmaceutical and semiconductor plants, petrochemical sites and buildings with heavy single-phase non-linear loads.
