KOSO damper type butterfly valves combine low seating force with good shut-off and resistance to very high temperatures; the thermal expansion of the seat ring with fluid temperature makes them well suited to hot gas and air service.
The 600B duty damper covers 3" to 60" up to ASME Class 900, the 600S light duty damper goes up to 128", and the 610S ring-seal version adds stainless steel or Inconel seal rings for lower leakage.
