The PANAM PTT-402 family fits inside the connection head of a temperature sensor and converts RTD resistance or thermocouple voltage into a 4 to 20 mA signal. The smart PTT-402-04 (and PTT-402-05 with ATEX certificate) offers two channels, HART protocol, galvanic insulation, auto diagnostics and SIL2/SIL3 safety versions.
Simpler models cover dedicated needs: PTT-402-06 for Pt100 2 or 3 wire with failure LED, PTT-402-07 for Pt100, Pt500, Pt1000 and Ni100 with ATEX certificate II 1G Ex ia IIC T6, PTT-402-08 for Pt100 or Ni100, and the universal PTT-402-09 for thermocouples J, L, U, T, E, K, N, S, R, B and Pt/Ni sensors. Parameters can be set by PANAM and printed on the label.

The code gives model (402), transmitter type (04 to 09), SIL level, sensor type, simplex or duplex, wiring, range and alarm signal, using the same structure as the catalogue example PTT-401-01-0-01-1-2-0~50-H.
