The PANAM PTS-505 measuring inserts are the replaceable sensing elements used inside temperature sensors and thermowells. Shield type 2 in 316 or Inconel takes Pt100 and thermocouple K or J elements; shield types 4 and 5 are ceramic for high temperature thermocouples.
The catalogue also lists clamping grips (UG, UC1, UC2, US, USG) used to mount the temperature sensors.
