Screw steam compressor that raises the pressure of low grade steam so it can be reused in process steam equipment, avoiding much of the energy spent on condensing, boosting and reheating. Positive displacement: the volume flow is almost independent of discharge pressure and efficiency stays high over a wide range. Works on saturated steam, two-phase steam, liquid and superheated water, and gives high grade heat with less energy than a boiler. Few parts and wearing parts, compact, shipped fully assembled.
