COLOSSUS KLD Screw Expander Generator Set (steam energy recovery)

Screw expander generator set that recovers medium and low pressure steam from industrial processes and turns it into electricity. It accepts saturated steam, two-phase steam and liquid, and pressurized hot water, with no special requirement on steam quality, and keeps stable efficiency when steam conditions and load change. The rigid screw rotors cannot run away on overspeed like a steam turbine, and the high starting torque allows starting under load. Automatic control with fault monitoring and alarms allows unattended operation, with automatic synchronization to the grid.
