The Flareweld Access Fitting is welded directly to the pipe or vessel. It is designed with a radius matching the curvature of the pipe and a thick body providing adequate branch reinforcement to strengthen the weld joint. It is the most popular access fitting configuration.
Part of the EuropCorr Mechanical Access System, the traditional and economical assembly giving access to pipelines and vessels under full operating pressure without shutdown. The assembly is made of a Mechanical Access Fitting, a Solid or Hollow Plug and a Heavy Duty or Pressure Retaining Cover, and allows corrosion coupons, probes and chemical injection or sampling devices to be inserted and retrieved with the Mechanical Retrieval Tool Kit (installation under pressure with the Hot Tap Tool Kit).
