EuropCorr Mechanical Buttweld Access Fitting

The Buttweld Access Fitting is designed to be butt-welded directly to a 2" buttweldolet. Socketweld and 2" NPT pipeline connections are also available on request, and dimensions can be customised to client requirements.

Part of the EuropCorr Mechanical Access System, the traditional and economical assembly giving access to pipelines and vessels under full operating pressure without shutdown. The assembly is made of a Mechanical Access Fitting, a Solid or Hollow Plug and a Heavy Duty or Pressure Retaining Cover, and allows corrosion coupons, probes and chemical injection or sampling devices to be inserted and retrieved with the Mechanical Retrieval Tool Kit (installation under pressure with the Hot Tap Tool Kit).
