The capacitive level transmitter measures the capacitance between its probe and the vessel wall. As the level changes, the dielectric between them changes and the capacitance varies proportionally, which the electronics convert into a level signal.
The fully sealed probe has no moving parts and needs a single mounting opening. It suits liquids, oils, water, slurries and granular materials, including corrosive media.
