The PANAM PGTS is an all stainless steel gas actuated thermometer. The inert gas filled system gives high repeatability, small hysteresis and fast response over a wide range, from cryogenic to high temperature service.
It is available with a rigid stem for direct mounting, or with a bulb and SS 316 capillary (SS 304 flexible armour, PVC covering optional) up to 30 m for remote reading. Stem or bulb diameters are 6 to 12 mm with lengths from 100 to 4000 mm; SS 321 is used for the stem above 600 °C.
