Folded filter bags can directly replace existing round (oval) filter bags and cages in dust collectors without structural modification of the main equipment. Depending on system design and demand, the filter area can generally be increased by 50-150%, which significantly reduces system differential pressure and improves overall system performance and bag life. It also greatly reduces cleaning frequency or extends the cleaning interval.

Compared with standard cloth bags made of the same filter material, pulse cleaning efficiency is greatly improved thanks to the special structure, increased effective bag spacing and the rising velocity of airflow between bags. The special bag and cage design greatly reduces fatigue damage and intermittent emissions caused by pulse jetting. The cage has no horizontal support rings and a large effective contact area, avoiding direct impact on the bags.

When the filtration area is increased, the bag length can be shortened as required to optimize system operation, greatly reducing compressed air consumption, the load on the air compressor, pulse valves and fan, and overall system energy consumption.

The manufacturer specializes in developing and producing concave-convex folded filter bags and concave-convex folded bag-type dust collectors. Under the same conditions, the filtration area can reach 160% to 200% of that of cylindrical filter bags, and equipment operating resistance can be reduced to 600-800 Pa. Under operating conditions, emission concentration can be below 5 mg/m³. These bags are used in straw power generation, waste-to-energy, steel, lime, cement and other plants with demanding operating conditions.
