PANAM Needle Valves IB Series are designed for rugged, corrosive and hazardous environments up to 6,000 psi (414 bar) and are used in process control, instrumentation and flow control applications. Their one-piece design gives better strength and safety, and the stainless steel F316 body to ASTM A182 provides high corrosion resistance.
The valves are available in straight and angle configurations with PANAM compression tube ends (fractional or metric), female, male and male x female threaded ends, and male thread x tube fitting combinations. Non-rotating stem tips are offered as V tip for open/close service, regulating tip for flow control and ball tip for long service life. Valves can be supplied to meet NACE MR-01-75 and NACE MR-01-03.
Every valve is hydrostatically tested in accordance with MSS-SP-99 (body at 1.5 times and seat at 1.1 times the maximum working pressure) and the seat and stem seal are tested in nitrogen at 1,000 psi (6.9 MPa). Oxygen service cleaning is available.
