Derivative of the C8 series designed for high viscosity oils such as lubricating oil, refrigeration oil and turbine oil, and often used as the outer seal of double seals. The solid rotating face runs against a solid graphite stationary ring, which removes the effect of temperature gradients and keeps leakage low. Connection dimensions comply with DIN 24960 and GB 6556. Variants C89U, C89UV, C89B and C89BV.
