COLOSSUS CF35 Double Cartridge Seal for Agitators up to 4 MPa

Double cartridge mechanical seal for top-driven agitators and reactors up to 4 MPa, widely used in polypropylene plants. The double seal uses the same balanced structure on the product side and the atmosphere side, and installs simply as one unit. A bearing in the cartridge supports radial and axial loads and limits the effect of shaft runout on the seal.

• Seal faces: Graphite or resin-impregnated graphite against silicon carbide or tungsten carbide
• Springs: Cr-Ni steel or Cr-Ni-Mo steel
• Metal parts: Cr-Ni steel or Cr-Ni-Mo steel
• Secondary seals: FKM, PTFE-encapsulated FKM or FFKM
