COLOSSUS HR(L) Seal Flush Heat Exchanger (API 682 Plans 21 / 23 / 41)

Double coil heat exchanger for seal flush plans such as API 682 plans 21, 23 and 41. It cools the process flush to a suitable temperature so the mechanical seal runs within its temperature range, and can also cool other fluids. Vertical or horizontal installation.

Key features

• Raises the vapour pressure margin in the seal chamber
• Meets temperature limits of secondary seals and reduces coking and polymerization
• Adjusts flush flow through a suitable differential pressure
• Removes only seal face heat and process heat soak, for an efficient flush plan and longer exchanger life
