Product characteristics
In dust removal and flue gas purification, the temperature resistance of traditional filter materials does not exceed 300°C. Above 300°C, traditional filter materials cannot be used because they shrink at high temperature.
Pre-oxidized fiber is an intermediate product of carbon fiber: a partially cyclized black fiber formed by air oxidation at a controlled temperature. Its properties are:
- Density: about 1.40 g/cm³
- Strength: 1.4 cN/dtex
- Elongation: 23%
- Modulus: 5 GPa
- Limiting oxygen index: 35 to 60
- Decomposition temperature: ≥640°C
- Moisture regain: 9%
- High temperature resistance up to 300°C
It is fire resistant and non-combustible, acid resistant, alkali resistant, wash resistant, non-toxic and produces little smoke.
Based on the high-temperature resistance of pre-oxidized fiber, the manufacturer combines it with glass fiber and basalt base cloth, raising temperature resistance to 350-400°C to meet the requirements of special working conditions.
