Product characteristics
Nomex, known in China as aramid 1313, was invented and introduced by DuPont in the 1960s. It is a high-temperature resistant and flame-retardant fiber. It retains about 80% of its original strength at 200°C, and still retains 65%-70% of its original strength after 100 hours of continuous use at 260°C. It resists most acids and is also stable to alkalis. It is widely used in the military industry and in filter materials for its heat resistance and electrical performance. Its main filtration uses are in the chemical, steel, cement and asphalt mixing industries, with good dust removal and filtration performance.
