The Hydraulic Adapter Assembly converts a traditional Mechanical Access System into the safer Hydraulic System. It can also be used on mechanical access fittings with damaged internal threads, allowing them to be used again, and can be installed on pressurised lines without shutdown.
The adapter fitting increases the access fitting height by 80 mm; dedicated adapter solid and hollow plugs cover this gap. Replacing the mechanical protective cover with a hydraulic protective cover is recommended for safety.
