EuropCorr Hydraulic Pressure Retaining Cover for Probe

The Pressure Retaining Cover with adapter protects the external ACME threads and acts as a secondary safety containment in case a seal develops a leak. The pressure gauge shows any pressure build-up and the bleed valve is used to purge before removal. For direct probe reading with a MaxiCorr, the Swagelok fitting and probe adapter are supplied with the cover; for continuous reading with a MegaCorr, they are supplied with the probe cable.

Part of the EuropCorr Hydraulic Access System, which gives access to pipelines and vessels under full operating pressure without shutdown. The assembly is made of a Hydraulic Access Fitting, a Solid or Hollow Plug and a Heavy Duty or Pressure Retaining Cover; monitoring devices are inserted and retrieved with the Hydraulic Retrieval Tool Kit, and the system can be installed under pressure with the EuropCorr Hot Tap Tool.
