Protective covers protect the external ACME threads of the access fitting from mechanical and environmental damage. This Heavy Duty Cover is used with hydraulic access fittings fitted with a Hollow Plug and a probe; its hole allows the probe to be connected directly to the instrument.
Part of the EuropCorr Hydraulic Access System, which gives access to pipelines and vessels under full operating pressure without shutdown. The assembly is made of a Hydraulic Access Fitting, a Solid or Hollow Plug and a Heavy Duty or Pressure Retaining Cover; monitoring devices are inserted and retrieved with the Hydraulic Retrieval Tool Kit, and the system can be installed under pressure with the EuropCorr Hot Tap Tool.
