The flanged Y-strainer removes debris, scale and particles from liquid, gas and steam lines to protect downstream pumps, control valves and meters. The screen sits in the angled leg of the Y body and is removed through the bolted cover for cleaning without taking the strainer out of the line.
Bodies are cast in stainless steel or WCB carbon steel, with forged A105, F304, F316 or LF2 also listed, and a 40 mesh stainless screen as standard.
