The BVALVE PRV50065HP is a self-acting pressure reducing valve that maintains an accurate downstream pressure without any pneumatic or electrical control elements. It is diaphragm operated, spring loaded and proportionally balanced, designed for high flow rate applications.
When the outlet pressure, taken from a sensing line installed on site, rises above the set point, the plug moves towards the seat to reduce the flow; when it drops below the set point, the plug opens. The set point is adjusted by compressing the spring.
